We have arrived safely in San Antonio! All our travels this morning went very well... we were even entertained on the plane by a singing flight attendant! Even so, we are happy to be back on the ground in Texas. Mr. Jepsen, however, experienced not one, but TWO flat tires on the Band Trailer on his way to San Antonio. Fortunately he is now back on the road and we look forward to his arrival tonight with all the band instruments. Thanks to Melissa for this charming picture of one of the flats being repaired. Thanks Mr. Jepsen!
Our hotel is very nice -- the marble lobby features a beautiful stained glass window. The group favorite, however, is definitely the rooftop pool. Below, Stephanie, Sarah, and Denine enjoy the view of the city and the beautiful 80* weather!
Our plans for this evening include a hot dog and chili dinner at the hotel, beginning to expore the beautiful Riverwalk area, and a pizza party before heading to bed. Off to dinner now... more later!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad that everyone made it to the Lone Star State without incidents! Kudos to the Jepsens for being such troopers and road tripping the band trailer to San Antonio. I am sure Mr. Jepsen has had enough flat tires for this trip. I hope you all have a wonderful time. I think sunshine, warm weather & lots of fun filled times is just what the doctor ordered for all of the kids (and adults) It has been a loonggg winter! Thanks to Ms. W for the updates!
